Sync or Swim

LeisureWorld Staff Synchronised Swimming Team welcomes male members!

Colin Carroll of Dragons Den and paddygames.com fame is on a new crusade – to become a synchronized swimming champion, The solicitor, Colin, already a champion in elephant polo, sumo wrestling and the three legged marathon insisted that that the ban that blocks men from competing in the sport is ‘blant sexist discrimination – and I am determined to compete in the European Swim Contest’ Colin and his training partner Graham Little hope they can get the rules changed in time for the European master championships in Spain in September.

Pamela Morrison, LeisureWorld Team trainer believes’ that the introduction of men into the sport would only benefit the spectacle of synchronised swimming – the upper body strength of the men would enable more extravagant lifts and displays in competition’ continuing Christine Moloney, LeisureWorld CEO reinforced LeisureWorld commitment to supporting Colin in his bid saying ‘that the LeisureWorld team are delighted that Colin is training with our staff team and we look forward to developing the sport along here in LeisureWorld Bishopstown”

LeisureWorld Bishopstown is Colin’s training base as he prepares for the European Championships.
